Overview
We are seeking a skilled Foodservice Equipment Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment, including fryers, high-speed ovens, combi ovens, grills, griddles, steamers, dishwashers, and other cooking equipment. You'll work directly with restaurants, convenience stores throughout Central Kentucky, including top national brands such as Buffalo Wild Wings, Chipotle, Pizza Hut, Arby's, Freddy's, and many others.

Duties
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing fryers, high-speed ovens, combi ovens, grills, griddles, steamers, char-broilers, and holding cabinets
- Diagnosing and repairing dishwashers, ice machines, and other warewashing and food-prep equipment
- Troubleshooting gas, electric, and steam-fired equipment, including igniters, thermostats, gas valves, solenoids, control boards, and heating elements
- Replacing major components such as burners, blower motors, magnetrons, contactors, relays, and timers
- Performing scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and food-safety compliance
- Responding quickly to emergency equipment outages for restaurants, c-stores, and commercial kitchens
- Working independently in the field while collaborating with team members and office staff as needed
- Communicating clearly and professionally with customers to explain findings and recommended repairs
- Following all safety standards, gas code requirements, and local mechanical codes
