As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, including by vehicle as needed, to help support a secure and welcoming environment. You will remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, assist shoppers and store staff with outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related observations and actions.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor customer and associate activity, report suspicious behavior, and/or assist with access control, crowd management, and store closing procedures as directed.

Support retail loss prevention efforts by observing high-traffic areas, helping with de-escalation during customer-related issues, and communicating with site contacts and local responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
