Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our Home Health Department in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.
Position Details:
- Status: Part-Time
- Work Shift: Days
- Hours: 8am-4:30pm; 64 hours every 2 weeks
What Your Day Looks Like: In this role, you will travel in a designated service area to the homes of patients to provide therapies aimed at improving cognitive, speech, and language deficits. You will manage your own daily schedule of appointments within the scheduled work hours, creating autonomy and flexibility for you in this role.
As a Speech Therapist, you will be:
- Establishing an effective plan of care using appropriate skills for evaluation and screening
- Communicating effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and others
- Writing clear, concise, legible documentation that includes appropriate information for care planning
- Developing and implementing treatment plans that lead to optimal patient outcomes
- Utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to achieve intended outcomes
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Experience:1 year of experience preferred
- Licensure/Certification: Licensed by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts; Current State of Missouri Speech Language Pathologist License
- Physical Requirements: Stamina to sit for prolonged periods, walk and move frequently, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Skills: Problem-solving, planning and time-management, verbal and non-verbal communication, basic computer skills, ability to work independently, and listening skills
