Athens, Georgia | Full-Time | Live-Out | Long-Term Career Position
Nannies and more…® International is seeking an exceptional, warm, polished, and highly experienced Professional Nanny/Family Assistant for a wonderful professional family in Athens, Georgia with two young daughters, ages 2 years and 1 year.
Hours: Paid Full time for 40 hours but the schedule is only for a part time schedule. M-F routine schedule starting at 2 PM- Ending by 8 PM. Occasional Travel but not required.
Salary: Rate starting at $35 per hour based on professional nanny/private home experience, education, and knowledge. Paid benefits: paid vacation, paid sick/personal days, and paid holidays. Relocation assistance.

The Family
Both parents are professional, involved, and very hands-on with their daughters. They are looking for a nanny who appreciates working in a collaborative environment and is comfortable partnering with an actively involved mother. This is a Christian family who is respectful, kind, and seeking a very loving professional relationship.
The successful candidate should understand when to step forward and take initiative and when to work alongside the parents as part of a team.
A “willingness to help” personality is essential. This family is looking for someone who naturally notices what needs to be done and is happy to assist without needing constant direction.
The Children
The position centers around two young girls:
2-year-old girl
1-year-old girl
Candidates must have strong professional experience with infants, toddlers, and young children and an excellent understanding of the developmental changes occurring during these important early years.
The nanny should be knowledgeable about:
Infant and toddler developmental milestones
Age-appropriate educational activities
Language and vocabulary development
Fine and gross motor development
Sensory and exploratory learning
Social and emotional development
Establishing healthy routines
Age-appropriate boundaries
Positive reinforcement
Early manners and etiquette
Encouraging independence and confidence
The family would love someone creative who can make learning part of everyday life through reading, music, imaginative play, arts and crafts, outdoor exploration, age-appropriate outings, sensory activities, and hands-on experiences.
Nanny & Childcare Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Providing attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care
Planning creative and educational activities
Supporting developmental milestones
Maintaining the children’s daily schedules and routines
Preparing children’s meals and snacks
Assisting with family meal preparation when needed
Children’s laundry and organization
Maintaining children’s bedrooms, play areas, and belongings
Bath-time assistance and evening routine support
Packing and preparing for activities and outings
Keeping children’s supplies organized and replenished
Helping teach age-appropriate manners and etiquette
Encouraging kindness, confidence, independence, and good social skills
Providing safe and reliable transportation as needed
Working alongside the mother when both are caring for the children
Family Assistant Responsibilities
This is a hybrid Nanny/Family Assistant position, so the ideal candidate must enjoy helping beyond traditional childcare duties.
During appropriate times, the candidate should be willing to assist with the everyday organization and flow of the household.
This may include:
Light household organization
Children’s laundry
Family laundry assistance as needed
Tidying and organization
Meal preparation
Grocery or household errands
Children’s scheduling and activity preparation
Maintaining children’s clothing, supplies, and seasonal items
Helping prepare the household for the family’s daily routines
Anticipating needs and helping wherever appropriate
This is not a traditional housekeeping position. The family is seeking a professional nanny who has a genuine family-assistant mindset and understands that helping with the household contributes to creating a smooth, organized environment for everyone.

Professional Requirements
Candidates must have:
Minimum of 5 years of professional, full-time nanny experience
Significant professional experience caring for infants and toddlers
Strong knowledge of early childhood development and developmental milestones
Excellent professional references
Clear criminal background check
Clear driving record
Social Security verification
Legal eligibility to work in the United States
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Professional and polished presentation
Reliable transportation and ability to drive as required
Early childhood education, child development coursework, professional certifications, or related educational backgrounds are highly desirable.
Schedule & Commitment
Full-Time | Live-Out | Long-Term
There is no live-in option for this position.
The family welcomes qualified candidates from Athens, surrounding Georgia communities, and other markets. They are willing to consider relocation for an exceptional candidate who is the right long-term fit.
The family travels very little, and extensive travel is not required.
Candidates should, however, have reasonable flexibility for:
Occasional travel
Occasional overnight care
Occasional weekend assistance
These needs would be occasional rather than a regular part of the position.
