Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all front-of-house restaurant operations during service
- Maintain exceptional guest experience standards with a focus on personalized hospitality
- Train, mentor, and develop FOH team members including servers, hosts, bartenders, runners, and support staff
- Uphold fine dining service standards, sequence of service, and attention to detail
- Manage staffing levels, scheduling, labor efficiency, and daily floor plans
- Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure smooth service execution
- Monitor guest feedback and proactively resolve service concerns
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and ongoing service education
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout the dining spaces
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, alcohol service, and company policies
- Assist with wine service standards, special events, private dining experiences, and seasonal programming
- Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management efforts
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience in upscale or fine dining environments
- Strong knowledge of hospitality and elevated service standards
- Demonstrated leadership and team development abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with POS systems, scheduling software, and labor management
- Wine and beverage knowledge strongly preferred
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for hospitality, food, wine, and guest experience
Preferred Experience
- Michelin-level, luxury hotel, or destination dining experience is highly valued
- Experience managing within boutique hotels, resorts, or hospitality-driven lifestyle properties is a plus
