Paraprofessional (After-School & Weekends)
Location: In-home services (Long Island and Queens Locations)
Schedule: Part-time, after-school hours and/or weekends
About the Role
We are seeking caring, energetic, and reliable Paraprofessionals to work 1:1 with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in their homes. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping children build communication, social, and daily living skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Responsibilities
- Collect accurate session data and document progress notes
- Assist with behavior reduction and skill development strategies
- Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding client progress
- Maintain professional and supportive communication with families
Requirements
- Experience with autism or special education
- Ability to work afternoon/evening hours and/or weekends
- High school diploma required; college coursework in psychology, education, social work, or related fields preferred
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
