Seeking to fill a new full time accounting positions leading to manager or possible controller type position. Must have solid experience in working with a small to medium sized manufacturing and or distribution company.

You must have a degree or certification in accounting or related field . Sage 50 knowledge is needed but not mandatory.
Accounting Function examples:
1. preparation, examination, and analyzing of accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards;
2. preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets;
4. preparation of required schedules, reports and analyses, including the trail balance for the quarterly financial reports.
5. Prepare bank reconciliation on a monthly basis; prepare analyses of prepaid insurance; reconcile receivables and payable with general ledger balances;
7. work with sales team and look for ways to reduce overhead costs on a consistent basis.
8. Accounts payable/receivables

1. Have personnel and budget management experience;
2. Exercise critical thinking skill sets that include the ability to articulate issues, analyze data, develop options and provide solutions;
3. Perform short and long-range budget planning and financial projections;
4. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public;
5. Exercise professional judgment in making decisions;
6. Handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation;
7. Know how to use computer and software applications (Windows, MS Office, internet applications, etc.) necessary to perform the duties of the position;
8. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
