Position Overview
Complete Quality is seeking experienced Unloaders / Material Handlers to provide contract-based warehouse support services at Metropolitan (furniture distribution) warehouse in Lockport, IL. This opportunity is ideal for safety-conscious individuals with warehouse logistics and unloading experience.
Compensation
- Approximate Pay: $18.63 per hour
- Payment Type: Weekly pay via 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule
Available shifts include:
- 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Referral Bonus Program
Referral bonuses are available for contractors who meet attendance and safety requirements:
- $250 after 2 weeks of consistent service
- $500 after 4 weeks of consistent service
- $2,500 after 90 days of consistent service
Referral bonuses are paid to the individual who referred the contractor. Contractors must maintain satisfactory attendance and have no safety violations.
Job Responsibilities
- Manually unload and move boxed furniture weighing approximately 60–75 lbs.
- Utilize dollies and material handling equipment to transport products safely.
- Stack, organize, and stage furniture for driver pickups and deliveries.
- Perform labeling and re-labeling duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Complete additional warehouse-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse unloading experience required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting on a consistent basis.
- Experience using RF scanners preferred.
- Must wear a safety vest while on site.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and attendance.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of furniture weighing 60–75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the entire shift.
