Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead <PERSON> to oversee and coordinate a wide range of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. As a key leader on our team, you will manage daily operations on-site, supervise skilled tradespeople, and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, and remodeling projects.
- Supervise rebar installation, concrete finishing, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and plastering activities to ensure precision and adherence to plans.
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project execution accurately.
- Operate or oversee the operation of heavy equipment and power tools safely on-site.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
- Manage construction schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
- Mentor team members in the use of hand tools, measuring techniques, welding procedures, and other specialized skills.
- Conduct quality control inspections for framing, drywall installation, stucco application, restoration work, and other finishing tasks.
- Collaborate with project managers to interpret technical drawings and modify plans as needed for site-specific conditions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, safety incidents, and material usage for project records.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in metal building erection and concrete forming.
- Extensive hands-on experience with masonry work, rebar installation, roofing, siding, drywall finishing, and remodeling projects.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans with precision.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical schematics related to metal stud framing and other specialized systems.
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, working at heights (roofing), use of power tools, and site hazard mitigation.
- Experience supervising diverse teams of skilled tradespeople including carpenters (frame & trim), masons, welders, plasterers, and laborers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, architects, subcontractors, and team members throughout project lifecycles.
