Alloy Personal Training in East Brunswick, NJ is seeking a highly motivated, success-driven, and competitive fitness professional to take on the role of Head Coach / Lead Trainer.
Alloy is one of the fastest-growing fitness franchise brands in the United States and specializes in small-group personal training with no more than six clients per session. PREMIUM COMPENSATION
- Total yearly compensation of $50,000–$85,000 or more, depending on experience and skills.
- Total compensation will likely be a combination of base salary and a commission structure.
- Additional earning potential may be available based on skills and experience in areas such as sales, marketing, business development, or management.

HOW YOU'LL THRIVE AT ALLOY
As Head Coach, your primary objective will be to ensure our studio delivers premium personal training sessions and exceptional client experiences while achieving our monthly retention and revenue goals.
Approximately 75% of your time will be spent conducting small-group personal training sessions with 4–6 clients, following Alloy's proven training methodologies and standards.
The remaining time will be focused on studio operations, staff development, member engagement, and helping grow the business. Depending on your experience and interests, there will also be opportunities to contribute to lead generation, sales, marketing, and community outreach.
Your success will be measured not only by the quality of your coaching, but also by member satisfaction, retention, team development, and overall studio performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPre-Opening & Community Development
- Assist the Director and Owner in building relationships with local residents and businesses during the pre-opening period.
- Represent Alloy at pop-up tables, local businesses, community events, and street fairs.
- Help generate leads and build awareness of the Alloy brand throughout the East Brunswick community.
- Conduct Starting Point Sessions with new members as we build our membership roster leading up to the grand opening.
Coaching & Member Experience
- Deliver premium small-group personal training sessions.
- Follow Alloy's training methodologies, systems, and coaching standards.
- Conduct initial consultations and establish appropriate goals and objectives with members.
- Create an engaging, motivating, and supportive training environment.
- Build strong relationships with members to maximize satisfaction and retention.
- Help achieve monthly membership, retention, and revenue goals.
Leadership & Team Development
- Serve as a leader and mentor to the coaching team.
- Assist with the education, development, and onboarding of coaches and staff.
- Help create a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Champion the Alloy culture and help create a community of support and accountability built around #StrongerTogether.
Studio Operations & Community
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the studio.
- Provide exceptional customer service to members and prospects.
- Help organize member events, celebrations, and community-building activities.
- Participate in marketing, lead-generation, and local outreach initiatives.
- Support the Studio Director and Owner with other responsibilities as needed.
CAREER GROWTH

QUALIFICATIONSRequired:
- 3–5+ years of personal training experience, preferably in a high-end fitness club, gym, boutique fitness studio, or professional training environment.
- Strong track record of delivering exceptional personal training experiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop other coaches.
- Computer literacy.
- Professional, positive, and reliable attitude.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience coaching in a small-group personal training environment.
- Strong track record as a top performer based on monthly revenue generated through selling and/or servicing clients.
- Sales experience.
- Assistant manager or leadership experience.
- Business development or marketing experience.
- Completed nationally recognized personal training certification such as NASM, ACSM, NSCA, CSCS, ISSA, NCCPT, NCSF, ACE, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE
The schedule can and will be adjusted based on the needs of the business and the selected candidate. In general, expect:
Monday–Friday
- Weekday AM Shift: 5:00 AM–11:00 AM
- Weekday PM Shift: 4:00 PM–8:00 PM
- Mix of morning and evening shifts throughout the week.
- We will make every effort to limit scheduling both AM and PM shifts on the same day.
Saturday
- Approximately 2 Saturday mornings per month
- Saturday: 7:00 AM–12:00 PM
