Award winning automotive facility with 2 locations in Fort Wayne, Indiana now hiring experienced automotive technicians for very busy service centers. We have experienced great growth and are excited to add dependable and trustworthy team members.
Some of the duties would include:
-Diagnosis of drivability concerns and other mechanical failures.
-Inspect and determine service/repair needs on vehicles.
-Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
-Communicate with various suppliers to obtain needed parts.
-Document all work performed.
-Road test vehicles as needed.
-Speak directly with customers about repairs made to their vehicle and maintenance recommendations.
-Learn our business mission so that customers can "see" our business model through professional actions.
-Cooperate, respect and assist other team members when needed.
Some qualifications include:
-General mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
-Understand electrical systems and theory. Ability to diagnose complex networking/circuit problems.
-Knowledgeable with computer diagnostic equipment.
-A demonstrated competence in automotive service, ASE certification or equivalent knowledge.
Requirements:
-ASE Master Certification is preferred, but not required.
-Minimum of 5 years experience required.
-Experience using good problem solving skills and taking the initiative to think critically to identify improvement opportunities.
- The ability to deliver exceptional customer service is a must.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 80 pounds.
- Ability to communicate well in both verbal and written form.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.04 - $30.00 per hour
