Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Compensation Package
Students will work 20 to 25 hours per week during business hours between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. In addition to an hourly wage, students selected for this opportunity will receive free on-campus housing as part of their compensation package. Students must be available to work during Towering Traditions and the move-in period.

Position Summary
This summer position offers a valuable opportunity to gain real-world experience while supporting Auxiliary Services at Belmont University. Students will work in a collaborative team environment and assist with daily operations in dining, vending, the BruinShop, BruinBooks and the Mail Center. The role supports essential University services during the summer and provides hands-on exposure to multiple operational areas.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Clerical and Office Support
- Answer phones, respond to emails and greet visitors in a professional manner
- Organize files, enter data and maintain accurate department records
- Prepare simple reports or documents as needed
Vending Operations
- Visit campus vending machines to confirm they are stocked and operational
- Report issues promptly and follow up to ensure resolution
- Track service requests and maintain updated logs
Dining Operations Support
- Monitor video surveillance and report unusual activity within dining locations and campus convenience stores
- Assist with troubleshooting technology issues in dining areas
- Support updates and testing for the BruinEats mobile ordering platform
- Collect student feedback and identify opportunities for service improvement
General Department Support
- Assist with special projects and summer events for Auxiliary Services
- Support operations in Dining, BruinShop, BruinBooks and the Mail Center as needed
- Assist with the creation of marketing and promotional materials
- Handle sensitive student and departmental information with confidentiality
- Be adaptable and ready to take on new tasks as needs arise
Required Qualifications

Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate with others

Ability to take initiative and manage assignments after receiving direction

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Teams; general knowledge of Canva preferred

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Required Education
Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University.
