Meadow Glen of Leesburg is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Aide (CNA/DCA) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to our residents, promoting their well-being and comfort. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing excellent patient care and who possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
Direct Care Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain personal hygiene with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance and help residents with transferring and positioning.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Document and report any changes in resident health status
- Always ensure the highest safety and well-being of our residents
- Communicate with residents and family members in a polite, professional manner
- Work well with others and promote a team environment
- Perform other related activities as assigned or requested
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Active CNA license in Virginia or a 40-hour Direct Care Certificate
- Solid work history with excellent attendance, punctuality, and patience
- Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
- For Full-time and Part-time positions, one must be able to work rotating weekends
- Willingness to learn!
