Job Title: Part-time STEM Instructor (K-8)
Pay: $30 per hour
Job Summary: Co-instruct a classroom of 20-30 students to learn about STEM while completing various engineering projects
Job Duties:
- Provide students with a project-based learning environment
- Teach students basic engineering principles
- Build multiple projects with students
- Provide weekly lesson plans to your liaison(s)
- Ability to effectively communicate lessons
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in training sessions
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Pursuing at least a Bachelor’s Degree in education, engineering, math or science discipline
- Basic knowledge of engineering fields and principles
- Classroom management skills; Communication; Time management; Leadership
- Previous work with elementary and/or middle school students
