Suffolk County, NY Mail Order Printing Company has an opening for a Customer Service Representative/Purchasing agent. Knowledge of Printing preferred
The ideal candidate will have at least one year customer service experience. They will be detail oriented and able to handle incoming calls in a pleasant and understanding manner focused on achieving customer satisfaction and then place and follow through with orders. They will also oversee some in-house production as well as purchasing wholesale printing and in-house supplies.
Job Summary: We are a small company with a specialized niche market product. We pride ourselves in providing excellent service to our mostly repeat customers. We do have seasonal high call volumes and a tight knit team that you will work closely with. We cultivate a relationship with our clients and the industry we service. Printing knowledge is helpful and learning our catalog of products and their use is necessary. you will be Purchasing supplies and wholesale printing as well as overseeing some production with Occasional Backup of shipping department.
Duties: Handle all aspects of customer service responsibilities, which include (but are not limited to) taking phone calls, placing orders, preparing return requests, providing quotations and guidance, answering questions and inquiries. Purchasing wholesale printing and in-house supplies as well some oversight of production and shipping.
Must be computer proficient.
Knowledge of printing preferred.
Knowledge of Quickbooks a plus.
Need well-honed people skills.
Must be able to get along well with others (customers and co-workers, alike).
Exceptional communication skills.
Customer service experience required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. College a plus.
Paid training period
Able to work 8:30 - 4:30 Monday through Friday.
