Responsibilities:
- Need a team player hygienist for Fridays.
Could add more days in future .
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque and tartar, and applying fluoride treatments
- use open dental
- use NOmad for dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history
- Assist the dentist during procedures, such as dental fillings or extractions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental office software (such as Epic) and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards
- Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean dental environment
Experience:
- Minimum of 2years of experience as a dental hygienist
- Proficiency in using dental office software (such as Epic) for scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Familiarity with dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting
Requirements:
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- CPR certification
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
