The Caregiver role at Blue Haven is fast paced and fun! We are a small privately owned community of 16 amazing residents. Full Time employees are eligible for profit sharing! The ideal candidate communicates well with residents and co-workers, responds to emergencies, fosters teamwork and communication, helps elderly residents with dementia perform ADL's, such as dressing, bathing, grooming, meal assistance, medication administration, mobility, laundry, light housekeeping, and supervision. Experience in Memory Care is preferred, but will train the right person! A person who is KIND, FLEXIBLE, COMPASSIONATE, HONEST, THOROUGH, and FUN is exactly what we are looking for!
Qualifications
- Core skills: Compassion, patience, empathy
- Premium Skills: Experience in memory care, familiarity with Alzheimer's and dementia
- Relevant Skills: First aid/CPR certification, medication administration training
