Responsibilities – Pediatric Physical Therapist
As a pediatric physical therapist in our early intervention program, you will:
Provide hands-on pediatric physical therapy in home and community settings

Assess and provide intervention to infants and toddlers with gross motor delays and developmental challenges

Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans

Contribute physical therapy input to each child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP)
-
Deliver evidence-based pediatric physical therapy interventions
-
Educate caregivers on therapeutic exercises, positioning, and mobility strategies
-
Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary providers
-
Monitor progress and adjust physical therapy goals as appropriate
-
Complete compliant physical therapy documentation per Pennsylvania guidelines
-
Support children in achieving developmental milestones through skilled pediatric physical therapy

Qualifications
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT or DPT) in Pennsylvania

Experience in pediatric physical therapy preferred
-
Experience providing physical therapy to young children with disabilities
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently in community-based settings

Commitment to evidence-based physical therapy practice

Highly organized and self-motivated
