Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about merchandise to enhance their shopping experience
- Upsell products and promote store specials to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are attractive and accessible
- Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and product replenishment
- Practice excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and assist in supervising store activities when needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette for engaging with customers confidently
