A well-established, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Greece, serving the greater Rochester area, is seeking a Medical Director to lead a collaborative, high-quality small animal practice. This role combines hands-on clinical work with strategic leadership, mentorship, and team development, making it ideal for veterinarians passionate about both medicine and guiding a supportive, high-performing hospital culture.
About the Role
The Medical Director will partner with the practice manager and leadership team to:
- Shape the hospital's vision and standards of care
- Implement improvements and strategic initiatives to drive excellence
- Mentor and support medical staff while fostering professional growth
- Promote a positive, collaborative culture rooted in both clinical and client excellence
Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited institution (or equivalent)
- Active veterinary license in New York (or eligible prior to start date)
- Active DEA license (or eligible)
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills

Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
