Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink using systems like Toast POS
- Take food and drink orders accurately, communicate effectively with kitchen staff, and deliver orders promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, addressing their needs, and creating a lively yet professional atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards and food handling protocols.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions as needed, demonstrating versatility across various service settings.
- Uphold food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for order entry and sales processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and accurate order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working in nightclubs or catering environments is advantageous; retail math skills are also beneficial.
