The Parts Driver must have excellent customer service, computer, and phone skills. Must be detail oriented and be able to multi-task while staying positive and upbeat in a team atmosphere. Automotive experience is ideal.
Duties to include (but are not limited to):
- Keeeping Van clean
- Inspect and record any damage or discrepancies
- Deliver parts to correct customers.shops
- Assist with inventory control
- Assist customers as needed
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver's license, and a clean driving record. Candidates must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles and must have basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle maintenance (checking and topping off fluid levels, maintaining tire pressure, performing vehicle safety checks, etc.). Strong communication and customer service skills required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures safe and on-time shipment of parts to customers
- Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
- Maintains cleanliness of shipping/loading area and performs routine maintenance tasks
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Notify managment if anything is wrong with parts vehicle
