Duties
- comprehensive Spanish language curricula aligned with higher education standards is provided
- Deliver engaging, interactive lessons utilizing learning management systems (LMS) such as Blackboard and other digital platforms to facilitate online and hybrid instruction
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Utilize classroom experience and learning technology to create an inclusive environment that encourages active participation
- Support students’ academic success by offering guidance on research methods, writing skills, and language practice techniques
Experience
- Prior teaching experience in Spanish
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse student populati
- Strong familiarity with LMS platforms like Blackboard and other learning technology tools for course delivery and assessment
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or instructional technology integration
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students through creative writing, multimedia content, and interactive activities
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly desirable to facilitate effective communication across diverse audiences
