We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team and lead the measurement and mapping of land parcels, construction sites, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys using GPS surveying equipment, 3D scanners, LiDAR, and traditional methods to gather accurate spatial data.
- Perform topographic mapping, construction staking, and land boundary delineation with precision.
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, and Trimble Business Center.
- Manage data collection efforts efficiently while ensuring data integrity for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Analyze survey data through mathematical techniques involving trigonometry, algebra, geometry, and math principles to produce reliable results.
- Oversee or collaborate with surveying teams during field operations to ensure safety protocols and project timelines are met.
- Prepare comprehensive survey reports, documentation, and as-built drawings for project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in land surveying or related construction experience with a strong understanding of GPS surveying technology.
- Proficiency in using survey equipment such as 3D scanners, LiDAR systems, total stations, and GPS units.
- Skilled in drafting software including AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, Schematics tools, and GIS platforms like ArcGIS.
- Solid knowledge of topographic mapping techniques and construction staking procedures.
- Strong mathematical skills in trigonometry, algebra, geometry, and data analysis to interpret survey results accurately.
- Ability to manage mapping or surveying teams effectively while coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CAD drafting standards, schematics creation, GIS data management, and construction documentation processes.
