Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Motors Process Integration Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement process improvements for motor manufacturing lines.
- Assist in the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, robotic systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Conduct root cause analysis on process deviations or equipment failures to identify corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and Schematics to design or modify tooling, fixtures, and process layouts.
- Support machining operations by programming CNC machines, CAM programming, and performing fabrication tasks using hand tools and precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and GD&T standards.
- Participate in process engineering activities including plastics injection molding, welding, assembly line optimization, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Maintain detailed documentation of process parameters, schematics, maintenance logs, and ISO 9001 compliance records to ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience working within a manufacturing facility or industrial environment with factory experience in motors or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on skills in machining, fabrication, welding, electrical wiring, and assembly processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; experience with Schematics is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, robot programming, and PLC systems for automation integration.
- Familiarity with process engineering principles including continuous improvement methodologies like Lean manufacturing.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately; experience with GD&T is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently.
- Strong math skills for precise measurement and process calculations; understanding of industrial equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and document technical information clearly.
