Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: In Clinic
Salary: $22-27 an hour
Responsibilities:
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Follow established behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA/BCaBA to address target behaviors and promote skill development.
- Provide Direct Therapy Services: Engage in one-on-one therapy sessions with clients to deliver ABA-based interventions and instruction..
- Collect Data and Monitor Progress: Accurately record and track client behavior data during therapy sessions to monitor progress, measure skill acquisition, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Assist with Assessment Procedures: Assist the BCBA/BCaBA in conducting initial assessments, functional behavior assessments (FBAs), and ongoing evaluations to inform treatment planning and decision-making.
- Implement Behavior Management Techniques: Utilize positive reinforcement strategies, prompting procedures, and behavior management techniques to support clients in acquiring new skills and reducing challenging behaviors.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Completion of RBT training program approved by the BACB
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
