Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Owner Operator to join our team specializing in Belly and End Dump hauling. This role offers the opportunity to operate your own tractor-trailer, delivering freight efficiently across over-the-road routes. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for managing your vehicle while ensuring timely, safe, and compliant deliveries. Duties
- Operate Belly and End Dump trailers safely across long-distance routes, adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems, planning optimal routes for timely deliveries across OTR (Over the Road) driving routes
- Manage vehicle inspections, routine maintenance checks, and documentation to keep your tractor-trailer in top condition
- Handle logistics cargo with precision, including loading, securing, and unloading freight safely at each destination
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers such as Belly and End Dump trailers
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with endorsements relevant to the cargo transported (hazmat certification preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols
- Strong route planning skills utilizing GPS navigation systems for efficient delivery execution
- Ability to load and unload freight safely while following proper procedures for truck loading/unloading
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance in over-the-road driving environments
- Knowledge of logistics cargo handling techniques for various trailer types including flatbed and tanker loads

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per day
