CAFE of Life Chiropractic & Wellness Center is hiring a dependable, energetic, and highly organized Bilingual Chiropractic Assistant and Patient Flow Coordinator.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is a mandatory requirement for this position. Applicants who are not fully bilingual will not be considered.
This is a part-time, hands-on position that includes patient care, therapy assistance, Spanish translation, office flow coordination, and support with patient examinations.
Schedule:
Approximately 20 hours per week
- Monday: 8:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 2:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m.
- Thursday: 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Additional hours may be available when covering shifts for other team members. Full-Time can be discussed for future.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with prescribed third-floor therapies
- Prepare, clean, and organize therapy areas
- Guide patients between therapy stations, rooms, providers, and floors
- Monitor where patients are and what they are scheduled to receive
- Coordinate with the front desk, doctors, and therapy team to keep the office running smoothly
- Help prevent unnecessary waiting, confusion, and delays
- Translate for Spanish-speaking patients in person and over the phone
- Explain appointments, therapy instructions, and office procedures in Spanish
- Perform new-patient pre-examinations before the doctor meets with the patient
- Assist with established-patient re-examinations
- Gather, document, and organize patient examination information
- Complete assigned posture, movement, and functional assessments
- Communicate patient concerns to the doctor or appropriate team member
- Opening and closing your area
Full training will be provided on our equipment, procedures, and patient-care protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Fluent in English and Spanish — required
- Must be able to confidently communicate with Spanish-speaking patients in person and over the phone
- Outgoing
- Friendly, professional, and confident working with patients
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to multitask in a busy healthcare environment
- Highly observant and aware of surroundings
- Able to take initiative without constant direction
- Comfortable staying active and moving throughout the office
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and assist patients during the shift
Previous chiropractic, healthcare, physical therapy, rehabilitation, or patient-care experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
