Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow during all shifts
- Lead, motivate, and manage staff through effective training, coaching, and team development
- Supervise food preparation and kitchen activities to maintain high quality standards and food safety compliance
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Conduct shift management tasks including scheduling, supervising staff performance, and maintaining operational efficiency
- Support food production processes for casual dining, catering, or banquet events as needed
- Assist with budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and implementing strategies to maximize restaurant profitability
- Uphold food safety standards through proper food handling practices and staff training on hygiene protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS platforms
- Excellent team management skills with experience in supervising hospitality teams and conducting staff training
- Skilled in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management practices
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety management, and cost control measures
- Effective communication skills for managerial roles including interviewing, training & development, and managerial communication
- Proficient in basic math for cash handling, budgeting, and profit analysis
- Experience in managing hospitality teams with a focus on customer service excellence
- Knowledge of catering operations or banquet experience is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
