Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Experienced Homecare CNA, PCA, or HHA to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive personal care assistance, including help with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and observe patients’ health status by recording vital signs, assessing symptoms, and reporting changes promptly
- Support clients with medical procedures such as catheter care, wound care, and managing medical equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer methods
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ensure compliance with home healthcare standards
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document care activities accurately and efficiently
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for clients living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other cognitive impairments
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment
- Follow home health care regulations and safety protocols during patient transfers or heavy lifting activities
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans and update on patient progress
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- Valid certification as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), PCA (Personal Care Assistant), or HHA (Home Health Aide) with current licensing where applicable
- Proven experience working in home healthcare settings or assisted living facilities
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, and patient care techniques
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation purposes
- Ability to perform patient transfer methods safely using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices
- Knowledge of home health regulations, hospice care principles, dementia care, and end-of-life support is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely when assisting patients or performing household tasks
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications; Basic Life Support (BLS) training is a plus
- Compassionate attitude combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple client needs effectively

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
