Summary
Directly responsible for general repairs and maintenance of locks and panic hardware in all Moffitt locations and ensures that all areas provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Will also provide fire watch detail when needed.

Training Required: Ability to understand key system implementation, pin cylinders for correct key requirements, shim cylinders, install lock sets, trouble shot problems, and inspect door openings. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to work independently and work cooperatively in a team. Basic Knowledge of Life Safety Codes to include fire watch, and State Requirements for Medical Facilities. Good written and verbal skills. Knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, and data bases. Has working knowledge of ADA locks and hardware for compliance.
