Responsibilities
- Professionally install flooring according to company and industry standards
- Install tile, hardwood, LVP, laminate, and/or carpet based on experience
- Perform proper subfloor and surface preparation
- Install showers and waterproofing systems when applicable
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Protect customers’ homes and property during installation
- Communicate professionally with customers and project managers
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Properly maintain company-provided tools and vehicles
Qualifications
- Previous professional flooring installation experience is required
- Experience with one or more of the following: tile, hardwood, LVP, laminate, or carpet
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must successfully pass a background screening
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
- Ability to lift and carry flooring materials and equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional appearance and communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience installing multiple flooring types
- Tile shower installation experience
- Waterproofing experience
- Experience with stairs, baseboards, and trim
- Knowledge of professional flooring installation standards
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field
