The Opportunity
Health Gauge is growing, and we’re looking for a Traveling Sonographer to support our screening events in the Midwest area and beyond. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety in their work, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and wants flexible PRN contractor opportunities—all while making a meaningful impact in preventive health.
What You’ll Do
- Travel to events as a contractor on a PRN basis
- Perform rapid assessments of the Carotid Artery, Thyroid and Abdominal Aorta
- Provide a friendly, professional, and upbeat experience for each client
- Ensure accurate documentation of results (paper + online records)
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced Sonographer with a vascular background
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using technology (online documentation systems)
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-focused
- Willing to cross-train and learn additional roles within the company
- Experience administering EKGs and ABIs is a plus
Compensation
- $450–$550 per day, based on qualifications and experience
- Mileage reimbursed at $0.655 per mile
- Lodging covered for overnight travel
