In addition to Amergis' standard benefits package, we are also offering the following:

$22.84 + $5.09/hour, total pay per hour $27.93/hour

Schedule:
Dental Assistants will provide services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Schedule adjustments may be required based on operational needs. When changes to the established schedule are necessary, the Government will provide the Contractor with a minimum of two (2) weeks’ advance notice whenever possible.
Minimum Requirements:
Dental Assistants must have successfully completed a one (1) year dental assistant program accredited by the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
Additionally, Dental Assistants must possess a minimum of one (1) years’ experience as a dental assistant.
Dental Assistants must be competent in using four-handed dentistry, assisting with specialty procedures such as oral surgery, periodontal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics and implant placement and restorations.
A Dental Radiological Certificate is mandatory.
Dental Assistants are required to hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
A valid Tuberculosis (TB) test is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with general and specialty dental procedures, including oral surgery, endodontics, and periodontics.
Prepare, maintain, and sanitize operatories and surgical suites in compliance with infection control and sterilization standards.
Obtain diagnostic-quality dental images using proper safety protocols.
Monitor patient comfort, safety, and vital signs during treatment and sedation procedures.
Provide patient education, post-operative instructions, and outstanding customer service.
Schedule appointments, maintain patient records, assist with charting, and perform administrative duties.
Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and facility policies.
Perform approved direct patient care duties, including impressions, temporary crown fabrication, coronal polishing, rubber dam placement, and suture removal.
Complete dental laboratory functions, including pouring impressions, preparing study models, and fabricating trays and bite rims.
Participate in required training, education, and safety programs.
