We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physician to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive clinical expertise, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and experience in managing diverse medical conditions across various specialties. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care services within a dynamic hospital setting, emphasizing collaboration with healthcare professionals to deliver the highest standard of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including physical examinations and diagnostic assessments, to establish accurate diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems effectively to document patient encounters, manage health records, and coordinate care.
- Collaborate closely with specialists across fields such as cardiology, endocrinology, dermatology, pulmonology, and others to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options while fostering a supportive environment for shared decision-making.
- Manage inpatient and outpatient cases efficiently, ensuring timely follow-up and continuity of care.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
Experience
- Post-residency experience in primary care or family medicine is required, with demonstrated proficiency in managing diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms is essential for documentation and coordination.
- Experience working within hospital settings or Level I trauma centers is preferred, along with inpatient experience in acute care environments.
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and diagnostic radiology enhances diagnostic accuracy.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including nurses, specialists, and support staff.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding, and clinical research practices is advantageous.
- Additional experience in areas such as geriatrics, pediatrics, chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes), or urgent care will be considered a plus.
