Key Responsabilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy services to pediatric and young adult populations.
- Complete evaluations, treatment planning, and functional assessments (PT responsibilities).
- Implement individualized treatment plans and interventions based on patient goals (PT/PTA responsibilities).
- Educate families on home programs and strategies to support progress outside of therapy.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including daily notes, progress reports, and required insurance documentation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient-centered goals.
- Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development opportunities.
- PTs provide supervision and guidance to PTAs, students, and volunteers as applicable.
Qualification and Skill Requirements
Physical Therapist (PT):
- Doctorate or Master's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Texas PT license or eligibility for licensure.
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):
- Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Texas PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
All Candidates:
- Current CPR certification or obtainable within 3 months.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Extensive standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and floor-based activities throughout the day.
- Active participation in physical and play-based therapy sessions.
- Ability to lift, position, and transfer clients as needed.
- May be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Compensation
- $50,000–$80,000 annually depending on position (PT/PTA), experience, and qualifications.
