Overview: The Credentialing Specialist performs system-wide credentialing functions for medical staff and advanced practice provider applications for two medical staffs according to the Medical Staff Bylaws, related manuals and policies ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsible for maintenance and confidentiality of all credentialing documentation, including accuracy of electronic credentials file. Supports the System-wide Credentials Committee by developing the agenda, completing minutes, performing follow up and disseminating information to the members. Department Description:
