Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to foster a welcoming atmosphere
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, accurately, and with attention to detail during events
- Set up banquet areas according to event specifications, including table settings and presentation standards
- Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests or courses
- Handle food handling and safety procedures diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Provide knowledgeable beverage service, including wine pouring and drink recommendations based on guest preferences
- Assist with food preparation and replenishment as needed to support seamless service flow
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry or catering environment is highly preferred
- Strong guest services and guest relations skills to enhance the guest experience
- Knowledge of banquet service protocols, fine dining standards, and food safety practices
- Ability to perform basic math for order accuracy and POS (Point of Sale) system operation
- Familiarity with wine knowledge, beverage service, and drink presentation techniques
- Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Capable of standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods in a fast-paced setting
