Dan’s Bagels is a local, family-owned business that specializes in premium sourdough, artisan bagels that are scratch made and baked fresh daily. YUM!!!
We are looking for a friendly and open-minded individual to join Dan’s Bagels team. The ideal candidate would be detail orientated, motivated, a problem-solver, and able to work in a team environment in a fast paced environment.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work Tuesday - Friday and Saturday and Sunday
- Punctual and Attentive
- A Morning Person! (we do serve coffee!)
- Passionate about creating a warm, hospitable environment
- Able to work efficiently under stress and a fast paced environment
- A kind individual
- Interest in food service (or just bagels!)
- Able to wear gloves during shift
- Ability to multi-task
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
- Enjoy working in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Able to use learn or have knowledge of Toast POS
- Assembling menu products (bagels, shmears, cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches)
- Great communication skills
- Kindly greeting customers and taking orders
- Serving cold and hot beverages (coffee)
- Cleaning and Sanitizing work area
- Restocking preparation area when needed
Experience: Prior food service experience preferred, but not 100% necessary.
