Looking for an experienced dump truck driver around the Des Moines Metro area. Minimum Class B license required. Side dump experience and ability to drive manual is a plus, but not required.
We are a small to mid-size excavating and trucking company that offers competitive wages, competitive benefits, flexibility, all within non-corporate structure. Most of the trucks we own are automatic Quints/Quads. Side dumps are day cabs manual/automatic. Our shop is located in Adel, but we do dispatch trucks out of Ankeny depending on demand and employee location as well.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operate dump truck to transport materials within construction site or to-and-from job sites
- Inspect and maintain dump truck, including checking tires, fluid levels, and reporting any issues to supervisor
- Load and unload materials, such as gravel, dirt, or debris, using the dump truck bed or other equipment as needed
- Communicate with supervisor and other workers to ensure efficient and safe material transport and delivery
- Keep records of materials transported, as required by company.
- Navigate to job sites using maps or GPS systems, and follow directions provided by site supervisor or contractor
- Abide by all traffic laws and regulations, and operate dump truck safely and responsibly on public roads if necessary
- Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and half day Saturdays to accommodate construction schedules and deadlines as needed.
- Drug testing is required.

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
