We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Short Term Rental Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our portfolio of 12 short-term rental properties in the Albany area.
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to guest and property needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine property inspections to ensure homes meet quality standards
- Coordinate and manage cleaning teams between guest stays
- Communicate with guests before, during, and after their stay
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist guests with lockouts and urgent issues as needed
- Coordinate maintenance requests with contractors and vendors
- Ensure properties are fully stocked and guest-ready
- Monitor calendars and reservations across multiple booking platforms
- Help maintain high guest ratings through proactive communication and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Previous experience managing short-term rentals preferred
- Experience using Airbnb, Booking.com, and VRBO platforms
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties in the Albany area
- Comfortable handling occasional evening or weekend guest emergencies
- Experience coordinating cleaners and maintenance vendors is a plus
