Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or common areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine surfaces
- Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and residents
- Follow sanitation protocols meticulously to uphold health standards and safety regulations
- Manage janitorial tasks including waste disposal, restroom sanitation, and detailed cleaning of high-touch areas
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest or resident requests with professionalism and friendliness
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work or hotel housekeeping preferred
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and safety procedures in cleaning environments
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods and operating cleaning equipment effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Experience with laundry operations and handling various cleaning tools and supplies
- Prior janitorial or housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required
