We are looking to fill the catering cook position where you will help maintain the day-to-day kitchen operations by taking part in line cooking, food prep, customer service and the cleanliness of the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare, cook, and present food items in a timely manner while cultivating a positive environment and maintaining a professional work ethic.
- Ensure quality control through product rotation, proper portioning, and accurate production.
- Deliver catering orders. This includes occasionally staying to set the order up in a practical and aesthetically pleasing way, and serving at corporate and private events.
- Assist in maintaining par levels and receiving/putting away all restaurant orders.
- Maintain proper storage of food and supplies, adhering to all ServSafe, allergen certification, CDC and HACCP guidelines.
- Share in food cost responsibility through organization, rotation, and utilizing logs, inventory, and other systematic spreadsheets
- Maintain a clean and safe restaurant, adhering to all health and sanitation guidelines.
- Participate in and perform any additional tasks and jobs that may be required for the overall success of the team, including dishes, restaurant upkeep, opening/closing procedures, and staff meetings.
Requirements:
- 2-3 year of prep & line cook experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Interest in learning and growth
