Responsibilities
Perform and interpret ultrasound exams with RDMS accuracy and quality.
Maintain strict patient safety, infection control, and equipment sanitization.
Document findings clearly in patient records and communicate results to physicians promptly.
Demonstrate measurable performance through productivity metrics and target attainment.
Adhere to regulatory and accreditation standards (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
Coordinate with cross-functional team to optimize patient flow and throughput.
Continuously pursue professional development and pursue RDMS recertification goals.
Assist with scheduling, triage, and managing priority cases to maximize pipeline efficiency.
Ensure proper equipment calibration, quality control, and downtime reporting.
Collaborate with physicians to discuss complex findings and aid in clinical decision-making.
Educate patients about procedures, benefits, and post-procedure care to enhance experience.
Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and coordinate with procurement for requisitions.
Experience/Qualifications
RDMS certification and active licensure as ultrasound technologist
Proficient performance of ultrasound exams with accurate interpretation
Strong patient safety, infection control, and equipment sanitization practices
Accurate documentation and timely communication of findings to physicians
Adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards
Active pursuit of RDMS recertification and ongoing professional development
Ability to meet productivity targets and contribute to throughput throughput
Participation in quality control, equipment calibration, and downtime reporting
Cross-functional collaboration to optimize patient flow and case prioritization
Patient education on procedures, benefits, and post-procedure care
