Elements of the Maintenance Supervisor position:
- The position is accountable for maximizing the appearance and performance of the assigned property(s) for tenants, guests, and ownership to ensure a well maintained, safe and welcoming property.
- Follow the company’s and property’s standards of operations.
- Interact professionally with tenants, contractors, guests and team members.
- Project a professional attitude and practice proactive communications.
- The position will perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for physical aspects of the structures, systems, and equipment in tenant spaces, interior and exterior common areas, and the property grounds to meet the standards of cleanliness, appearance, safety and overall functionality.
- Oversight of all contractors working on site including janitorial, trade, and construction to ensure that the property and safety standards are communicated and observed.
- The position will conduct work which supports all areas of the property’s activities including Leasing and Marketing.
- The associate will be a collaborative team player who is open minded, communicates well, practices a “can do” attitude, is able to accept supervision and maintain positive relationships with internal and external associates to achieve CSREA’s “best in class” standards.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of heating, air conditioning, electric and plumbing skills.
- Knowledge and skills with basic work tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of technique with painting, repairing and patching walls, and cleaning carpets.
- Ability to prioritize work schedule and follow-up on assignments in a timely manner.
- Ability to understand and to carry-out instructions and safety rules provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
Physical Requirements:
- Must regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, possess hand and finger agility, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, climb, crouch or crawl, and climb multiple flights of stairs.
- Must be able to regularly work in outdoor weather conditions and potentially be exposed to cold, wet or humid conditions.
