About Garagistic
Garagistic LLC is a direct-to-consumer ecommerce company specializing in premium machined metal and engineered plastic aftermarket parts for vintage BMW vehicles. We serve a passionate enthusiast community from our warehouse, shipping orders to customers across the United States and internationally. Our team is small, tight-knit, and values people who take ownership of their work and show up ready to contribute.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable, experienced Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Operator to join our team. In this role, you will handle the full spectrum of inbound and outbound warehouse operations — from receiving freight shipments and pallets to picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. You should be comfortable working independently, maintaining accuracy under volume, and keeping the warehouse organized and efficient. This is a hands-on, physical role that is critical to our day-to-day operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and process inbound freight shipments, pallets, and parcels; verify against POs and document discrepancies
- Unload, inspect, and accurately put away inventory into designated warehouse locations
- Perform regular cycle counts, bin audits, and full inventory counts to maintain stock accuracy
- Pick, pack, and ship outbound customer orders with attention to accuracy and packaging quality
- Assist with the coordination and loading/unloading of outbound LTL and FTL freight shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Log receiving activity and inventory movements accurately into WMS/ERP systems
- Communicate clearly with the operations and supply chain team regarding inbound/outbound status, shortages, or damage claims
- Help organize and label products, bins, and shelving in alignment with inventory management best practices
- Support light administrative tasks related to shipping documentation, carrier labels, and BOLs
- Pack finished goods and put away products into their designated storage locations as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- 1–3+ years of hands-on shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations experience
- Demonstrated experience receiving and shipping pallet freight (LTL/FTL)
- Basic working knowledge of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or inventory software
- Comfortable operating a forklift, pallet jack, or similar equipment (certification a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — you take pride in accurate counts and tidy shelves
- Ability to work independently and manage your own task queue with minimal supervision
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/move throughout a full shift
- Reliable, punctual, and communicative
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in an ecommerce or specialty parts fulfillment environment
- Familiarity with shipping platforms such as ShipStation, EasyPost, or similar
- Automotive enthusiasm or parts knowledge (not required, but always appreciated)
