The purpose of this position is to support designated business areas within Publix’s Asset Protection (AP) department in assessing threats that may impact Publix retail locations, associates, customers, and the financial performance of the company through the analysis of relevant data, creation/maintenance of databases and data collection systems, and preparation of reports related to risks, trends, etc. to support the decision making process of the AP department and/or Publix business partners.
This position impacts ensuring AP threat data, information, etc. is appropriately analyzed and prepared for use by Publix leadership to make decisions regarding the safeguarding of assets and optimization of operational efficiency for the company, as well as to it provide support and protection for Publix against incidents that may negatively impact the company’s financial performance, stability, brand, and ability to provide premier service to customers.
Responsibilities include:-
Utilizing advanced analytical techniques to assess threat data for a designated business area within AP (e.g., Security, Fire Safety) and generating reports used by AP leadership to support Publix during situations or incidents that may impact Publix’s brand, associates, and/or customers.

Developing, deploying, and maintaining analytic tools to optimize the integrity and accessibility of AP threat data to support ongoing analytical needs of the business area and identify improvements or enhancements to existing operational capabilities.
