About Us
We're a nurse-owned, private-pay home care agency serving seniors and their families across the Clear Lake, Pearland, and surrounding communities. We're known for clinically-driven care, a stable in-house office team, and caregivers who actually stay. As we continue to grow, we're hiring a relationship-driven outside sales professional to expand our referral network and bring new private-pay clients through the door.
About the Role
This is a true outside sales role — you'll spend most of your week in the field, not at a desk. You'll build and maintain relationships with hospital discharge planners, SNF and rehab social workers, senior living communities, geriatric care managers, estate planning attorneys, financial advisors, and other professionals who guide families to home care. Your job is to make sure that when those professionals have a private-pay client who needs care, we're the agency they call first.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a weekly territory plan covering hospitals, SNFs, ALFs, ILFs, memory care communities, and professional referral sources across the Clear Lake, Pearland, and surrounding areas
- Build genuine relationships with discharge planners, social workers, community liaisons, and other referral partners through consistent in-person visits
- Host and attend community events, lunch-and-learns, and networking groups
- Track activity, referrals, conversions, and follow-ups in our CRM
- Partner closely with our Care Coordinator and Scheduler to ensure smooth, fast intakes that protect referral relationships
- Represent the agency professionally at industry events, chamber meetings, and senior-focused community functions
- Report weekly on pipeline, conversions, and revenue impact
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 2+ years of outside sales or business development experience in home care, home health, hospice, senior living, or a related senior care field
- Existing relationships with referral sources in the Bay Area / Clear Lake / Southeast Houston market
- Self-starter who thrives without micromanagement and owns their territory
- Excellent communication skills with both professionals and families
- Reliable vehicle, valid Texas driver's license, and clean driving record
- Comfortable using a CRM, smartphone, tablet, and basic Microsoft 365 tools
Nice to Have:
- Background in nursing, social work, or healthcare
- Existing book of business with private-pay referral sources
- Familiarity with WellSky or similar home care platforms
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $60,000–$70,000 depending on experience and existing referral network
- Quarterly performance bonus tied to revenue growth
- On-target earnings: $90,000–$105,000 | Top performers $115K+ — uncapped
