In this position, you will support the classroom Lead Teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. Your role is vital in fostering curiosity, encouraging growth, and ensuring every child feels loved and supported as they explore their world. - Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote infant development, including sensory play, language acquisition, and motor skills.
- Support daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times with compassion and attention to safety.
- Supervise children closely to ensure their safety at all times, practicing vigilant child supervision and behavior management techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards, including sanitation of toys and surfaces.
- Enjoy interacting with children outside as well as inside.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences to foster strong relationships.
- Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of developmental or health concerns and reporting them appropriately.
- Support classroom management strategies that encourage positive behavior and social-emotional development in infants.
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices is essential.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children to foster a positive learning atmosphere.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
