Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning.
- Provide physical assistance and behavioral support for students ensuring their safety and comfort within the classroom setting.
- Support classroom management strategies by encouraging positive behavior and helping implement behavior management plans tailored for students with special needs.
- Support classroom routines and preschool activities that promote childhood development and social skills.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, especially within private schools or early childhood programs such as preschool or Montessori environments.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies for students with disabilities.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is highly desirable.
- Ability to provide physical assistance for students requiring mobility support or behavioral interventions.
- Basic math skills to assist in instructional activities involving numeracy concepts.
- Demonstrate professionalism at all times.
